I am looking for a way to configure my DHCP enabled printer such that, when the printer is on it gets the IP from one particular DHCP server. I have two DHCP servers running at the same time and I want to know which server it gets the IP from.
How to configure the DCHP printer
As long as you have configured the network to DHCP, all devices that will be connected to it will acquire IP addresses dynamically, including the printer. So there is no need for you again to go on configuring one device on its own when it can be added automatically on the network.
All you need to do is search the network for the printer and then share it among all the computers that are on the network so that when you need to print you can use whichever computer as long as it id connected to the network.
You may only need to configure the printer settings in case you want to be using a static IP address.
