Hi,

To check your windows version it is simple and three ways.

First way to check.

1. Click on the start and then just type "winver" in the search folder or in a run.

2 When you press enter or click it will show you the version. It will be written under Windows OS.

Second way to check.

Single click on my computer to get it selected on the desktop then right click and click on properties.

It will open the System properties where you can see the version of the OS and also every detail about your PC.

A third way to check the version.

1. Click on the start and then click on the control panel.

2. When the control panel opens just click on the system It will show you the version and detail about your PC or Laptop.

To check for Windows version, Click Start, on the search bar, Type Run, Key in winver. If you are using Vista no need to search for “Run”, just type winver on the search bar.

Another way is to go to the Command or DOS Prompt, Click Start, on the search bar, Enter Run and click it once.

Enter cmd.  Now you will be directed to the black screen which shows the Windows version you are using.
