Hi,

I am operating a DELL computer which operating system is Windows 7, in that I have installed the Microsoft Office 2010 not far from today. After a few days I determined to uninstall the software because of unwanted problems made by the software. Next when I am going to re-install the office 2010 software it faced me with a disturbance, it does not running and display a error message with a number which looks alike 1963 or 2908. To resolve the problem what can I do?

Please give me a solution.

Since you're not sure about the error number that you're getting in installing Office 2010, I am going to presume that you are getting error 1935, which is rather close to 1963. If you're getting an error 1935 with 0x80070005, it is a permission issue with the software and it's not allowing you to install it because there are other Office applications currently running. Simple as that.

So before you start installing, close all instances of any Office applications that are running (Word, Excel, Outlook, Communicator, etc.). Also, some antivirus may interfere with the installation, you may need to temporarily exit out your antivirus programs. To ensure no background Office programs are running, open your Task Manager and close any Outlook applications that you see running. Once done, try installing Outlook again. You should be successful by this time.

Good luck.
