Having problem with xenapp 6

Hello there!

I am not conversant with XenApp 6 but have set up and build it up on a Windows 2008 R2 box. I need carry out conformity tests of our merchandise within the setting.

Any Application launched from my client’s browser prompts the message: “Cannot connect to the MetaFrame Server. There is no Citrix Metaframe Server at the Specified Address”. I haven’t had success in resolving the issue.

Appropriate Firewall Settings are set on the server and UAC rendered inoperative. The ports have been added to the omission list on the client.

My published apps can be see once am logged in. Nothing can be launched though.

Any solutions out there?

Hallo Blaike,

The first possible cause to the error that you are receiving could be because the ICA ports were not added to the SSL relay when you carrying out the configuration, but from the question you are saying that you already did that. I will ask you to check that again.

Another possible will be because changes that have been made to the DNS entry for the citrix web interface server you are using or the citrix application gateway, so just check that and revert the changes that you have made that may be causing the problems.
