Based on your description of the problem, it is probably the problem in the hardware. Each key on the keypad has a sensor that sends signal to its chip. The problem occurred may be because the keys have been pressed too hard that the sensor is broken. Another cause to broken sensors is hit with pressure to cause broken sensors. Another reason for the problem is short circuit. The internal hardware may have some short circuit. One cause of short circuit is having some water or liquid in the internal structure to cause the short circuit. I advise you to let a technician look at your phone.

This is a possible hardware issue but you'll need to identify first if it really is. Your cellphone might be on the "unlocked" mode status.

Do the usual thing first, like unlocked your cellphone by the use of combination keys set by your cellphone provider. Some Nokia phones uses Enter + * to unlocked phone from sleep mode. This might be the cause and the simple solution might be thrown away if you'll not going to dig deeper on this issue.

Some keypad can be replaced and a replacement should eliminate possible keypad issue. My cellphone back then got spieled with water on top and since then, keypad is not accessible.

Keypads are not working and keys are not displaying. Technician says, it's a firmware problem and can't be fixed. But let your cellphone first check by experts and they might find some remedies to this.
