Gets an error every time messiahStudio5 software is started

Hi Experts,

I have been using messiahStudio5 ever since in my Win Vista PC. 

Recently, I get this error message every time I start the software. 

C:Program

FilespmGmessiahStudio5_64Bitmessiah64LicenseUtility|ms4_ClientLicenseUtility.exe

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

I don’t know how to interpret the error message since I am not that techie (I am an artist).  I don’t know where the event log is and I don’t know how to use the sxstrace.exe tool.  

Anyway, I hope this forum can provide me a step by step procedure on how to resolve this error which I need to ASAP.

Hello Almag,

Did you change any settings for the program from what you had initially configured? If that is the case then that is what is possibly causing the problem. You will need to restore the default settings of the application for it to work properly.

You may also try restoring the system to a previous state before the error started occurring and see if that will fix the problem. May be problem could have been caused by some changes or updates that you could have made to the operating system and therefore run system restore to remove the changes.
