This is runtime error. Its occurred when we don't have a permission to write in the folder Indeed we are using an administrator rights account this error is always occurred in dere.Because some folder of system drive have different permission access rights according to there sensitivity.

The solution is right click on the folder go to the properties and then go to the security tab where check all the boxes and then restart the computer and then reinstall it.

regards

Hi Tammy,

This error occurs if you ran the installation without Administrator rights. This error is pretty common to Windows operating systems later than Windows XP. To prevent this error, all you need to do is right-click on the installation file and from the menu that shows up, select “Run as administrator”.

In addition to this, you need to make sure that your user account has Administrator privileges for you to install the printer driver.

I hope this helps.

If you need to install a printer on your computer, make sure you are using an administrator account because the installation will fail if you are using a standard non-admin account. The error in the background says “Error: Account should have Administrator Rights for the package to run.” This obviously means you are running the installer with a non-admin user account and that will not work.

Ask someone with an administrator account to install the printer software for you. Since you are using Windows XP, you cannot use the “Run as” option because Windows XP doesn’t have UAC or User Account Control like in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

So, to fix the problem, use an administrator account to install the printer software on the computer or ask someone with administrator account to install the software for you.
