Hi Experts,

I have been using Dreamweaver but new to inserting SWF files in it.  I was saving my Dreamweaver when I got this error message, see below.  I clicked the button OK just to ignore the message but the error seemed not resolved.

I have searched the web and have not come across with a proper resolution.

Can an expert from this forum advice on what to do next?  Thanks for the help!

Dreamweaver

This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent version of Internet Explorer.

Dreamweaver cannot convert them to the new SWF markups.

Please delete each of them and insert again.

I am not really certain on how to answer this one best. The message you are getting would still be there if your organization upgraded to cs4. The original fla files are required and these being opened in Flash pro cs3 or 4 may convert them automatically to a new compliant code, and then republish them as swf.

The other alternative is to just publish them anyway and ignore the error message. The problem is that you may have to force Internet Explorer 8 into Internet Explorer 7 (if that is what you have) compliance mode then to get them to work correctly.
