Using the Update Manager I found some available software updates. Now when I want to install them an error window appears and warn be about the errors. The Update Manager is the only way that I know how to make an update on everything. Please tell me why I have this error window and how I can install the updates properly?

Update Manager is the former name of what now known as Software Updater. It is a program that is capable of updating your installed software and their related packages especially major security updates and optional patches. Unfortunately, because you are using Microsoft Windows 7, your system doesn’t support this application. Software Updater works only on Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.
Microsoft Windows 7 is not yet supported. If you have been using this program before to automatically update your applications, then maybe you are still using either Windows XP or Windows Vista back then. Since your operating system is not supported, you can try your luck by running it under compatibility mode and see if it works.
Right-click on Update Manager and select Properties. Select Compatibility tab. Under “Compatibility mode”, check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select either Windows XP or Windows Vista from the dropdown list. Click OK and start the program. In case you are using the old version, download the latest from Software Updater 1.1.
