Error shown while opening a file in Microsoft Office 2003

Hello,

I have installed the Microsoft Office 2003 on my system and it was running perfectly well. When I initiated it today, it ran well, but as soon as I clicked on the file icon to open a file, it gives me an error message shown below:

'Error 25090 system error 2147023838'

The install wizard window pops up on the screen. It directs me to go to the Office Source Engine to solve the problem, but it is simply useless.

The settings seem to be changed, but I don’t know how they've changed.

What can be the reason behind the change of settings? Can anyone tell me how to restore it back to its original settings? I can't find a way out.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

When you open any of a Microsoft Word document, the document does not open successfully. This problem create for many reasons.

Step 1. Click or start word program then click file menu > open > and locate the file .

Step 2. Now click next and click open and repair.

Step 3. Make sure Microsoft word is installed perfectly.

Step 4. Go to view and select view normally.

Step 5. Always save your document in word-pad.

If the application in error there is Microsoft Office Word, just uninstall and reinstall it. On the other hand, if you have the entire Microsoft Office suite installed on your computer, just remove Microsoft Office Word only. Click “Start”, “Control Panel” then “Add or Remove Programs”. In “Add or Remove Programs” window, scroll down and look for “Microsoft Office”. Select it then click “Change”.

On the next screen, check that “Add or Remove Features” is selected then click “Continue”. In Microsoft Office “Installation Options”, select “Microsoft Office Word” then click the down arrow before it and select “Not Available”. Click “Continue” then follow the instructions. Restart your computer then repeat the same steps to go back to “Installation Options”. Now, set Microsoft Office Word to “Run from My Computer” then click “Continue”.

Once Microsoft Office Word is reinstalled, try it again and see if it works.
