Error with Microsoft Web Platform Installer 4.5

Hello,

When I click this link https://www.microsoft.com/web/handlers/WebPI.ashx/getinstaller/OfficeToolsForVS2012RTW.appids , I get the following error message from Microsoft Web Platform Installer 4.5. How do I resolve this error? Any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft web Platform installer couldn’t find the product your tried to install. Either the link you clicked is incorrect or your may be Overriding your feed with a different feed.

I understand your concern about not able to install Microsoft Web Platform. Regarding with the error you received, you should be informed that Web Platform requires your Windows to have updated in SP1 especially Windows 7. You just have go to start menu, then All Programs, and then select Windows Update. You have to proceed updating your operating system. You will be restarting your computer after the update is finished which it will take about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the speed of your internet. That should fix your problem and you can now install Web Platform without any error.
