Error in KMPlayer when accessing shortcut folder to get to media file

Hi, everybody.

I have created shortcut folders (.lnk), which directs to where I stored my media files.  When I run the KMPlayer, I usually open the "Browse" dialog and then click the specific shortcut folder.  But when I try to play the media file in KMPLayer, it stops responding and shows an error message as below:

Error:

Warning!

Opening Media or URL… Close it forcibly?
Unexpected error could occur!

Please help me solve this problem. Thanks.

There is a limitation to some softwares. The thing is most of the softwares are not programmed to pick up things from the shortcuts which we make.

The shortcuts that windows make can be used by the software but not the ones we make. So it is practically impossible for you to open the ink folder shortcuts in kmp player. It will keep you giving the error.

The best thing you can do is to place the music files in the place where you keep the shortcuts of the folder, this is how you can quickly play the files in your player without going to their main directory and then opening them
