Runtime error when playing movie on KMPlayer via Open URL

Hello, friends.

I get no response when I attempt to play a movie by using the "Open URL" option on KMPlayer.  I tried to use the Open URL from Internet Explorer, but the player crashed.  This is the error log from Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library:

RUNTIME ERROR
Program C:Program FilesThe KMPlayerKMPlaye.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Faulting application kmplayer.exe, version 2.9.4.1434,

There was no dump created nor was there a log output.
 

I have no idea how this happened.  Please help me experts.  Thanks a lot

Runtime error when playing movie on KMPlayer via Open URL

To resolve this issue, try to download the latest version of kmplayer. To do that, go to this site: https://kmplayer.en.softonic.com/. If you still want to use your old version, try these:

1. Open your kmplayer
2. Go to Preferences
3. Select Filter Control
4. Go to Splitter and General
5. Pick FLV and pick Gabest

The general rule is, if there is a new version available, it is always best to update your application to that since by the newer versions, old bugs and issues have been fixed and these types of issues should not show up anymore.

Hi,

 

If it's ok may I suggest some other players better that km player.and much lighter.first try to update the km player software some file are in error if the update is not incorrect date.make sure the operating system can support km player.here are some players I use

The COWON media player checks the site www.cowon.com or VLC media player
