Hello people!
I want to install and try Adobe Photoshop CS4 so I downloaded a trial version from the internet. Before the installation has ended a message box suddenly appears. (see below)

Some of the application components are 'missing' from
the Application directory, Please reinstall the application
Its telling me to reinstall the application so I installed it again. But same error appears. How can I solve this?

Error in installing CS4 in my computer
It also happened to me while installing adobe CS3. There are two reasons for this each mentioned below:
1. I hope now you are installing it after having a fresh copy of windows. If so then this error is because of some corrupt window files. To resolve this you have to install the window again or start windows recover process.
2. If not so then there is a problem in your backup of adobe cs4. Some files have been deleted or corrupted by some program or they are misconfigured. To resolve it try to install it from the disk or download from internet.

If you bought Photoshop CS4 installer, there are instructions to guide how to properly install it do EXACTLY what it tells you to do. If you just downloaded it in the internet, search again and look for the appropriate software. Another thing, if you already installed CS4 in your computer, please uninstall it. Go to your control panel. Download and install the right installer. If you want to install Adobe Photoshop CS4, you need to check the system requirements first and make sure your computer meets those requirements. Adobe Photoshop CS4 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 (32-bit only) and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise edition).
It requires 1.8 GHz or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB free space, 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution, and video card with Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0 support. For QuickTime multimedia features, you need to install QuickTime 7.2 or higher. Try also to disable your antivirus temporarily before installing it and make sure you are using an administrator account.
