Hi There,

I have some method to overcome your problem.

It can be a problem of your driver file. You can find this specific driver files in C:/ Windows / system32/ drivers folder. (assuming that you have installed Windows in C: partition in your computer).

Find and locate the diver file name "raspppoe.sys" and simply rename the file as another name just like "raspppoe_myfile.sys" don't change the file extension or you can copy and replace a file from Windows Vista computer (if you are running windows7) If you don't have the access to system files, you can download it from the link.

Just download the error 651 repair tool link and run it.

Then if it finds any problems in your system, they will be fixed.

Thank you.

Hi!

  • You didn’t mention your operating system. So I am assuming it’s Windows 7. Also from your post I am not sure that are you using a broadband (without a modem) or a internet connection using a modem. I am giving my suggestion for windows 7 OS and for a broadband connection.
  • First of all, open the Internet connection troubleshooter by clicking the start button and in control panel you will find it. If you can't find it give a search in the search box and select Internet connection troubleshooter from there.
  • Now try to disable your running Antivirus program for a moment or disable your PC firewall and then try to re-establish your connection. If there is still the same problem, disable the Windows 7 auto tuning feature. It may help.
  • After that if doesn’t work well or if the problem is still there, then it must be from your ISP side. Contact with them and fix the problem.
