Today when I opened my laptop this error appeared on my desktop after all the programs finish to load. I had this error before and it was solved by itself, it disappeared after a while. If I click OK nothing happens but now it seems like I can’t get rid of it. Can anyone help me please to solve this ? What is causing this error ?

Thank you !

If that program or error appears immediately after booting your computer when all startup programs finished loading then it is obvious that it is also included among the startup applications. It’s just that all other startup programs load successfully except EnCase. If the error appears constantly after booting then mind as well uninstall it if you are not using it in the first place.

You don’t have to go to the Startup folder to uninstall it. You can uninstall it in the Control Panel. Click Start, Control Panel and then select Add or Remove Programs. Among the list, find EnCase, select it, and then click Remove or Uninstall to uninstall the application. Restart your computer afterwards to verify that the error is already gone.

If in the future you need to use EnCase again, you should use the latest version. Download EnCase Forensic 7. It supports Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 both x86 and x64. For servers, it supports Windows Server 2003 Standard and Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard both x86 and x64.
