Hi,

With the arrival of the Cloud service, it seems that Dropbox does not take a backseat. For a service that is the market leader surprising, and that is why the company continues to push new features into its service.

The proof is a feature that has been in testing since last February. Indeed, remember from that ad in Dropbox which had introduced its automatic loading of pictures and videos. Today, the deployment seems formalized, to all service users accessing the application Dropbox on Mac and Windows, starting this week.

For those unfamiliar with Dropbox, despite the many articles you can find on the blog, be aware that this is a service allowing you to store and so take your photos, documents, videos and other files wherever you want.

As a reminder, functionality, previously in beta, allows to automatically import pictures, videos from a camera or a camera, smartphone or even an SD card. Thus, when you connect a camera to your computer, Dropbox will automatically begin to transfer images to your Dropbox storage space!

Please note that with your mobile, it's the same principle! Once the application Dropbox retrieved or updated since the Android Market, you can configure the automatic sending of your photos, videos on the platform Dropbox.

To do this, when launching the application you will be able to enable this new feature, by choosing to load the photos and videos with "Wi-Fi Only" or "Wi-Fi and data plans." Once validated, you just click on the button "Switch" and the application will scan your directories for images and videos!

To complement this new service, as shown in the official blog of the firm, Dropbox has also deployed a new photo page, accessible via the Web version of Dropbox, showing signatures and grouping of new features.

Besides the fact that we can now automatically load photos and videos in the background with Wi-Fi or a data plan, if you are worried about running out of storage so do not be! Indeed, the firm states that it will give you a gift of 500 MB of additional space on your first upload a photo, and using this new feature to upload photos. In addition, all 500 MB of photos uploaded, you will earn additional 500 MB, up to a total of 3 GB of additional storage.

Thank you
