Hi,

Your question is regarding storing  your blog posts on your hard drive or in a PC for archiving. This can be done through with a few clicking of mouse. You have to abide by the   following steps one by one:

  • Your blogger account should be logged.
  • "Settings"  bus be chosen from the options given
  • In the "Settings"  section click "Other".
  • After clicking "Other" you'll see 3 options on the "Blog Tools”, choose "Export Blog" you will find a new download window. Click "Download Blog"
  • An .XML file will be downloaded on your PC.

Now, find out  the .XML file that was  downloaded by you.

If you double click the file and it will be opened with Internet Explorer.

The actual design of your blog may not be seen by you. In this case your blog entries from day one will be appeared.

Now it is possible for you that you can now see your posts having or not having an internet connection. By the way the .you can use XML file to send  your whole blog with the help of  another podium like Word press.

If you want to save all your Blogger posts on your computer for archiving, the best they recommend back in the days is Blogger Backup. But upon checking, unfortunately, there is no more Blogger Backup. Blogger Backup is a simple utility designed to back up your Blogger posts on your computer and it is hosted on CodePlex.

CodePlex was a free, open source project hosting site from Microsoft which operated from 2006 until 2017. At the moment, CodePlex.com has been archived into a read-only, lightweight website. To know more about Blogger Backup, go to the archived information: Blogger Backup. If you still want to try it, go to Blogger Backup on Softonic and download it.

This is a very old program that runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. The downside of using Blogger Backup is that it saves in XML format. Alternatively, if Blogger Backup doesn’t work for you, you can use BlogBooker.
