Dotnetfx bad image error message

Hello all,

I wanted to download the Microsoft .NET framework dotnetfx. I downloaded it successfully but unfortunately when I tried to run it, I was met with an error. The screenshot of the error is as follows:

dotnetfx.exe - Bad Image

 

The error says:

 dotnetfx.exe – Bad Image

C:Windowssystem32sfc_os.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Can anyone please explain why am I facing a problem in running it when it was installed successfully?

Dotnetfx bad image error message

Hi,

I will help you to install. The package you are install is corrupted as the message says "Bad Image". Download a new version and install it on your PC. If you are trying to install as a standard user, then also it can be happened. Try installing as Administrator and see what happens.

Dear Hamilton Honny,

This problem on installation of your software is related to your application incompatibility or Errors in your system to discover what is the issue exactly, try to run the application on another device have the same operating system as yours it installed then the error in you windows, if it does not then the wrong on  the application, and try to download  a new one that compatible with your windows version 32 or 64.
