I own a blog about flowers. In order to monitor my progress, I try to track my pageviews using the stats tab in blogger. I notice that even my own pageviews are being counted. Now, what I want is to prevent my blog to count my own views so that I can monitor real views from others. Is this possible?
Hi Joshua! Yes you can stop tracking your own pageviews in your blogger. Follow these 3 simple steps to do it:
Step 1:
You have to log-in to your account in Blogger
Step 2:
In the image given below, you can see the Don't track your own pageviews in the lower left beside the graph for traffic stats. You need select that.
Step 3:
Right after selecting, a pop up window will appear like the image below. Select the Don’t track my pageviews then hit save.
That’s all. You can monitor the status of your blog without counting your own pageviews in the graph.
