Disable the automatic DNS Name Configuration

I am using Cisco Linksys WRT100 Router. I configured it as PPPOE connection through my ISP. When I am done with the tool to establish the reaction of the DNS name services, I want to configure it manually and put it as my top DNS choice. I can set up three static IPs but I was unable to locate the configuration for turning off the automatic DNS name configuration from my provider. I run the cmd then IPCONFIG /all to check all the available connections, the listing for DNS has two DNS Name Services in advance to my three static IPs which I just configured. How can I change that? Please help.

Disable the automatic DNS Name Configuration

It will not be possible for you to change that behavior on the router, because the routers be default are supposed to have the automatic domain name service configuration and that cannot be changed to manual or to the use of static IP addresses. Doing that will affect the behavior of the network.

But it should be necessary in general, because most operating systems use the preferred first domain name server, and they will only revert to the second or third if the ones before end up being unoperational. But in case you need that service so badly, you can try from the client side, though it may be optimal from there but the outcome will more or less the same.
