Remove computers that are connected to my router

I am using Dlink DIR 615 router. I used to check on the router’s default address all the computers that are connected to my wireless connection. Though it is secured with password, I still want to disconnect those who I allowed to access my connection when they are not using their computer. My connection is running really slow, when I checked on the router’s IP address, I found out that the number of Dynamic DHCP Clients are more than 10 including those who are connected through their mobile phones. Is it possible to disconnect them wirelessly? If so, how can I do that? Please help. Thanks.

I think the problem here is that you have set your wireless network connection to be open so that any person within its range can be able to successfully access it, and thus you are having many devices some which you do not recognize connected to your wireless network. You will need to remove the dynamic host control protocol addressing and assign the network users static IP addresses so that for someone to access the network they should be having an IP address that is manually assigned. To be even more secure, you will need to allocate every user with a password so that every time they need to access the network they have to enter the password. That way, although the users can be able to see the network within their range, they will not be able to connect it without having a password.
