Dell XPS Laptop Camera Quality issue

I am using dell XPS laptop, and recently it has just came back after servicing, but the quality of my laptop camera has been adversely affected, including the resolution and color quality, has it something to do with hardware drivers, or it could be some hardware problem, suggest me ways in which I can handle this problem, given that my laptop is still under warranty, should I contact them, or any software setting could help?

If your laptop has been fixed, check with the service personnel if the web camera was touched. If they didn’t do anything on the camera, try uninstalling the driver. Click Start, Control Panel, and then Add or Remove Programs. Select the webcam software on the list then hit Remove or Uninstall to uninstall it.

After that restart the computer and run the installer from the setup CD again. See if this fixes the problem. If it doesn’t, try updating the webcam driver on your computer. You probably need to install the latest version. Visit Product Support Drivers & Downloads. If you are not using a Dell XPS 13 laptop, click on Service Tag under “Show me driver updates by” and then enter your laptop’s service tag number. See image.

In case the problem is not fixed even after installing the latest driver, just use a separate webcam whenever you need to use a camera.
