Hello,

Make sure you have updated wireless driver for your Dell laptop. Clear your cache and history files and also try this step;

1: Enter start key in search and type %temp% there.

2: You will see the next screen containing various documents and pages stuff.

3: Select them all and delete all of them. Then move to recycle bin right click and select Empty Recycle Bin . All done I hope this idea will fix your problem.

Hi Wyatt Rich,

This problem may happen not for the WLAN or WiFi. It can happen for your internet browser. The browser cache needs to clear. If after clearing the cache problem stay you have to uninstall and then install the browser.

Hope you will get better result. Wish you Good luck.

If your laptop is connected to the internet but there is no internet connection, try troubleshooting your connection. If you are connected to the internet via 4G wireless connection, I guess you need to check your Wi-Fi router because routers in this kind of connection is most of the time configured to reset the connection after every several hours like with my connection.

Sometimes when the router resets the connection, the reset doesn’t refresh the connection properly leaving the router disconnected from the internet. To check if your Wi-Fi connection is working, open your web browser and log in to your 4G antenna dashboard. In 4G connection, there are two dashboards: first, the Wi-Fi dashboard and second, the antenna dashboard.

Wi-Fi dashboard
Wi-Fi dashboard

The Wi-Fi dashboard is where you configure your Wi-Fi network like the password, the SSID or the Wi-Fi name, security protocol used, enable or disable Wi-Fi signal, change the strength or range of your Wi-Fi signal, and so on. The antenna dashboard is where you see the strength of the signal you are receiving and other details.

Antenna dashboard

Both dashboards use different IP addresses to login and accessed via the Wi-Fi router. If your laptop is connected to a router but there is no internet connection and you are using 4G LTE, log in to your antenna dashboard and check your signal. If you are disconnected, restart your router.

If your router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 – 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. See if this works.

Try also checking the network cable. Disconnect the network cable from the network port then plug it back in. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, disconnect the other end of the cable from the Wi-Fi router then connect it back.
