“Crysis Warhead installation failed. This installation package could not be opened

Today I was trying to install the game Crysis Warhead into my machine and just when the installation was near completion, these error messages suddenly popped out: "Crysis Warhead installation failed.

This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package. Please check your settings and try again.” I proceeded to download the required Windows installer package but upon installation, another error message appeared, "Not Enough Memory". Can anybody please help me with this?

What else do I need to do and check?

Hello Kurt,

Here is a process to help you resolve the issue that you are getting during the installation of Crysis Warhead:

  • First of all, you will need to put either Crysis Warhead or Crysis Wars into your dvd drive.
  • The application should be able to automatically run in case it does not go to My Computer.
  • After that you will need to  click the DVD drive, and then right click and choose Autoplay.
  • After that, go to the main menu that will appear in your screen.
  • And then click install.
  • Follow the steps till the installation process completes successfully.
