Hi , an Excel worksheet may get corrupted due to virus infection or hardware malfunction etc.  Â
Most common errors of MS Excel Spreadsheet :
1. Unable to read files .Â
2. This file is not in a recognizable format.Â
 3.  Xls cannot be accessed, the file may be read only.
If you get the above error messages during your work, just try the following simple steps :Â
1. Set Calculation to manual but doing this open Excel, choose Tools, Options from menu, click the Calculation tab and choose Manual, click Ok, try to open the fileÂ
Open file, but disable macros, if that does not work try using Open and Repair Option to repair the Excel file :
Simply choose File, Open, select the problem file and instead of Open choose Open and Repair Option as in the picture in attaching filesÂ
