Considering rmvb vs mp4 how does one compare stats?

I download episodes in the two formats. Given rmvb vs mp4 how does one compare information on the formats to reveal the one with the best quality? Does converting between the two formats change video quality and how?

The very first thing you must consider is the size on hard disk after that the secondary factor is the quality. Both mp4 and rmvb video formats are great because of the storage size. But if you want to compare them both then mp4 is a good choice as it has a good quality as compare to rmvb. Contrary to this, if you want fine quality with medium disc space then rmvb can be the choice.

Quality and video size are the two major factors to be considered.
