I have a problem with the Chris TV app. I downloaded it from CNET so that I can watch TV from my PC and now when I run it an application error occurs. On clicking yes nothing happens and on clicking no the program quits. Any suggestions?

The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected ($80040209).

The error occurred because of filter interruption in Chris TV, as they are not connected well. Follow the following steps:
1. In case you are using Chris TV as a Video card with Video input or with both Graphic card and TV Card. Set Program Settings > Video Rendering and then
A. Uncheck the “Use Overlay Mixer” box,
B. Check “Use Video Mixing Renderer(VMR-9)” feature box, and
C. Check “Use Advanced Rendering Mode” box.
2. Ensure that you have installed DirectX 9 or higher.
3. Keep the Video Rendering Mode to either “Overlay”, “VMR-9” or “Normal”.
Finally Restart Chris TV. This would fix your problem.
