When I try to run the Active Directory Installation Wizard (Dcpromo.exe), I receive one of the following error messages:
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Or
The Domain Name is not an Active Directory Domain, or an Active Directory Domain Controller for the domain could not be contacted.
Or
Logon Failure: unknown username or bad password
Please, help me if you’ve any solution.

Good day,
I have researched your problem and come up with the following solutions:
The first error message occurs if a user runs Dcpromo on a domain controller where the Domain Name System (DNS) is not configured properly. So Dcpromo can’t access the Active Directory service. To solve this, review the DNS configuration.
The second message occurs if the user provides an incorrect domain name when he/she is prompted for his/her credentials. Running Dcpromo again and typing the correct domain name will solve the problem.
The third error message occurs if a combination of incorrect or misspelled user name or password is entered. Verifying the user name and password will solve this.
Hope this solves your issues
