One day my pc restarted unexpectedly; and after that it began to show the following error message in the event viewer repeatedly.

Error code 1000000a, parameter1 73e80016, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804e4a7a.

PC restarted unexpectedly because of some faulty assumptions i,e:

1. He cannot get into his Win 7 computer after defragment his hard drive.

2. He does not have the original disk because it was pre-installed on his computer.

Hello Mario,

That is probably a bug in the operating system. You will need to try performing a system restore and see if it will resolve the issue. If system restore does not yield positive results, you might want to consider doing a reinstallation of the operating system.

When you install Microsoft Windows on a computer, the option to auto-restart is enabled by default. This setting allows the operating system to automatically restart when the system encounters a fatal error. This is normal. The problem can happen any time when you are using the computer and with no particular program. The cause of the problem can be either hardware or software.

In my computer, I experience this problem multiple times a week because I have a problem with the memory. The downside of this Windows feature is that you wouldn’t know what caused the error because it just restarts and no error message is shown. For you to see what caused the error, you can disable this option.

Disable Automatically restart
Disable Automatically restart

To disable auto-restart in Windows, click “Start” then right-click “Computer” and select “Properties”. On the next screen, select “Advanced system settings” on the left pane. In “System Properties” screen, in “Advanced” tab, click “Settings” under “Startup and Recovery” section. In “Startup and Recovery” dialog, under “System failure” section, uncheck “Automatically restart” then click “OK” all throughout.
