Hello
I cannot find my Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery images. I find Error Code 0x80004005. I can't open the libraries where images & etc. are. What's the reason for this problem? I think it has something to do with all the recent updates. I run my entire security scan. Just I got & quarantined with Lavasoft Ad-Aware scanner. It got Win32.Pup.Bandoo {800}. Is this the criminal? Need your help. Thanks.

Hello Naomi West. This problem usually occurs whenever a user account has been corrupted. Have you tried opening the libraries via another account (like a guest account)? If the problem does not exist, try to fix the corrupted user account. You need to create a new profile. You need to create a new user account. By doing this, a new profile will be created. You then copy the files to the new profile. If the problem persists, try the following: go to the control panel, then to the device manager and open it. Check the ‘hidden devices’ option. Then open the network adapters. At this point you are able to see many adapters which are named Microsoft 6 to 4. Delete all of them. They are usually over 150 of them. Then restart your pc. Try again opening the libraries.Â
