I need your help!  This error concerning the mscoreei.dll is affecting some programs on my computer and enabled to start if I installed this program. Thanks in advance.

 Dear Sadi,

The error reveals that NET Framework 4.0 is not correctly installed and it should hence be installed appropriately to make the HP uninstallation work properly.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs or Programs & features and uninstall the version of the NET Framework present.

Restart the computer.

Install the TWO downloadable installers from the links below, in the same order as listed below. Browse to the below mentioned link, select the file and click on the download. Save the file to the desktop and then run the file with admin privileges.

1. NET Framework 4 Client Profile

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24872

2. NET Framework 4.0 Full

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718

After installing the above two files, restart the computer and then try uninstalling the HP software again

If you can’t uninstall a program via the Control Panel for some reason, another way is to uninstall it using third-party applications like Revo Uninstaller. To try this, download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your HP Product Detection Software among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then restart the computer. See if this works. If the application still can’t be uninstalled, try to forcedly uninstall it.

Download the free trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller Pro then click “Forced Uninstall”. In the “Forced Uninstall” dialog, click “Browse for” then select “Folder”. In the “Browse for Folder” dialog, navigate to the location of the program or the installation folder of the program, select it then click “OK”.
