Camtasia does not run properly

I have installed Camtasia studio 7 and it runs error free but the time I record something it results in an error message. I have recorded by plugging in input microphone though I need to record without plugging-in this device.

Please, find the error message in the screenshot below and describe the way to solve.

Error:

Camtasia Recorder

Unable to record audio.

No audio input device or microphone has been detected on this system.

Please check that microphone is connected properly before continuing

Camtasia does not run properly

Hi Gerald,

 

First, it is not possible if you are going to record an audio without a record device like microphone.  However, Camtasia will still run if you will just edit some videos.

Second, your sound card driver was disabled or something. Therefore, you should look to your Computer’s sound settings and run a test if your sound card is properly working.

When you open Camtasia, and you start recording audio and video, it will seek for any input devices like web camera for recording video and microphone for recording audio as well. Plug your microphone, start to record audio, and then you are good to go.
