Call problem with Samsung Galaxy S3

Hi there,

I recently acquired Samsung Galaxy S3 , When making a call, I can clearly hear the other person, but the other person cannot hear me well, I have checked the microphone and it seems to be okay, what could be causing this problem? How do I fix it? Anybody else experiencing the same?

Call problem with Samsung Galaxy S3

Hello Coury,

This is a common problem of the Galaxy S3 microphone, which signal power was dropping sharply when calls. That means the speakerphone function couldn’t working smoothly as well loss of audio. To resolve this issue, restart the handset may be resolve the problem temporarily. If not follow this solution:

1. Go to “Setting >> Accessibility and turn off all sounds.

2. Now to go “Settings”>> “Sound” and check your volume levels & sound is turned on.

3. Press “Phone” >> “Menu” >> “Call settings” >> “Additional settings” & uncheck “Noise reduction”.

That’s all, after that hope you will not face this type of problem.
