Hello troubleshooter,

I have a problem in burning the DVD in the computer. I have windows 764-bit operating system with 8 GB RAM and 250 GB hard disk. I can able to burn it with an 8X speed, but this is not happening in 12X speed. I get an error message saying burn process failed. I tried to trap the error, but I cannot. Help please. Thanks in advance.

Burn Process failed at 12X speed

Hello,

Burning process is a very complex task because the CD/DVD uses laser to be written or read so the process is a little bit slow than that of HDD or pendrive or others. There are also differences of various burners and also CD/DVD that can take the pressure of 12x speed.

12x is a very high speed. Because of this over speed, either your burner is not able to tolerate or your CD/DVD don’t support the speed.

Start the burning process again with 4x or 1x. This will ensure more efficient burning and less chance of data loss.

Also, check your RAM for free space. Close any program that is eating up a lot of memory and then run the burning process.

Now your CD/DVD should have burnt perfectly.
