Basic question on excel: I am working on my grading sheet on excel and I want to put a long sentence in a single cell without occupying a lengthy row.

I want it to fit in a cell with just a small width and length.

How will I do it?

Hi Calistamadisonn,

You can maximize a cell in MS Excel with one to two long sentences without making it look unorganized.

When you have two sentences and you want the 2nd sentence on the 2nd line; yet every time you press Enter, the selection goes to the next cell.

There is a solution for this. Instead of pressing only the enter button after the 1st sentence, you need to click on alt+Enter so that the 2nd sentence will appear on the 2nd line but on one cell.

Hope this helps.
