While taking the backup of files to DVD Image I receive 0I/O x8007045d error, Also I will receive it while copying files from one folder to the other.
Sometimes it just freezes other times I get a blue screen and restart. Really I need help, because it's my family photos I can't back up.

It seems your PC has been potentially infected by viruses or some errors have occurred in your Operating System, which is most probably Windows XP. Otherwise "Blue-Screen Error" would not have occurred. You should re-install your Windows Operating System, but that may result in the loss of your photos. There  is a way with which you may get your photos in a safe place. That is by using the Safe-Mode.Â
You can boot into the Safe-Mode very easily. When your computer starts, press and hold the F8 button. This will open a black screen from where you can choose between many options. Choose Safe-Mode with Networking with the help of your arrow keys on the keyboard and press Enter. When your computer boots into Safe-Mode you can copy your files to a safe place and then re-install Windows in your PC using a CD or a USB Flash Drive. I would recommend Windows 7, as it comes with more convenience and less errors.Â
