Hi Experts,

My Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX has encountered a problem. It is showing an error message “Error 2753”.

I tried to uninstall it but failed.

I found nothing in respect of this program in my Add/Remove Programs. May machine is running with Windows 7.

Have you any idea to solve the problem?

Please help me to get a remedy of this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hello John,

You might be getting this error due to a registry error. Here is the most applicable solution.

If the cause for this issue is an error in a registry key, we have to use regedit.exe to locate these keys from the registry and delete them.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTInstallerProductsGUID KEY

Also it should be mentioned about the GUID KEY here. Each and every software installed in a computer is represented with a unique GUID, which in this case, make it pretty difficult to find the Adobe Flash Player registry entries. Because this GUID key may differ even from version to version.

To find the GUID key, use regedit.exe, follow the document root as given below until you come to the products list. Use Ctrl+F and search for your Adobe Flash player version. You might come up with the GUID key(s). You have to delete all those entries.

So after fixing those registry errors, reboot your PC and check. Adobe Flash player must be installed and will be working smoothly.

Hope this will fix your problem.
