Acdsee6 Has Caused an Error

I think I've already seen this error once when I also tried installing the same application way-way back. Usually, when installing ACDSee application it requires Windows Installer to be installed in your system. When I tried installing a quite older version of this application it asks for Windows Installer to be installed in Windows. It was helpful since it indicated in the error that it requires that particular Windows component to be installed before installing the application. It fixed the problem after installing a version of Windows Installer on my computer. But there is a version of ACDSee quite newer than the one I previously installed that generated an error and didn’t ask for some component to be installed. Since the previous version suggested that Windows Installer should be installed, I tried following that. I downloaded a quite newer version of Windows Installer to upgrade the currently installed Windows component and hope that it would also fix the problem just like the last time. And it did.

Since you are also experiencing an error in the same application, why not try installing Windows Installer in your computer if your Windows still doesn’t have it. For Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003, download Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable package at Download Link. It requires several components to download depending on the Windows version you have. Just follow the installation procedures stated on the page.
