How does a cache memory works and what are its benefits and limitations?
I am helping a friend on his paper about cache memory and would appreciate to know more details and relevant views from IT professionals. Are there any particular areas about cache memory that is worth highlighting on a study.
Hope to hear all your feedbacks. Thank you.

I am a frequent user of YM, MSN and QQ International but for the last three days, I cannot read all incoming messages from my chat mates. I've been encountering the same problems despite un-installing and re-installing these messengers in my netbook. I have also tried re-starting, but it doesn't work.
The only way I can read their messages is too highlighted the invisible part, press CTRL+C and paste it in my message box (please see screenshot). This is quite bizarre to me, and I can't seem to find any helpful solutions in the net. Please advise if there's a way to fix this, as its very inconvenient to copy-paste all the time.

I got a problem when I tried to upgrade my Photoshop, a number of the ICC Extension config files have not been included correctly. Whenever I try to start Photoshop 7 (Upgraded from W2kServ & from Ps v_5) I get the following error message:
Could not load the NewICC Extension module because it does not work with this version of Photoshop.
Need to solve this.
Thanks in advance.

If a program conks out, you normally found a view of a window open with some error message, along with a code number. Place the message and the number in your favorite Web search engine for a link to need an explanation, which may include a solution. This attempt causes more loss than hit, unfortunately. Gregory Braun's free Error Messages for Windows utility lists Windows error messages using their code numbers, but it's unable to help you find the source of the error. Hope I can get an advice from here. Thanks in advance.
Error Messages for Windows
Specify an MS Windows error code number in the Error Code box.
The error code you enter will be described in the text window below.
