While I was surfing the net last time I read an article that, Microsoft had their conference and instead of talking about the Xbox 720 they will first introduced this Xbox Smart Glass. What is this Xbox Smart Glass?

Xbox SmartGlass is a companion application for Windows 8 computer, mobile device and tablet that connects the PC, phone and tablet to the television to augment your games and entertainment experience on Xbox 360. SmartGlass will turn your iOS, Android or Windows 8 device into a secondary screen that works together with Xbox. Make use of your phone or tablet as a remote control to explore, swipe, scroll, pinch, and zoom what you are seeing on television.

Application for Windows 8 computer

You can draw up a game, sports, shows, movie, and karaoke songs on your external touch screen device and move it to your TV for a simultaneous and wider view.  Up to four devices can connect to Xbox 360 at once. The application can be downloaded for free from any iOs, Android and Windows application store but there is no confirmed date yet on when it will be released. It will be a challenge now to the developers on how to integrate this application with other platforms and make it user-friendly.
