As I went with Windows upgrade I get the error code 80072EFD
If Error 80072EFD occurs while running Windows update, it is because of the number of update requests on the Windows servers. So in order to resolve this, just wait for few minutes and then run the update again.
However, if you are still receiving the same issue, there might be a program that prevents the Windows Update Services or the SVCHOST from accessing the internet. This could be your Firewall, Anti-Spyware Software, Antivirus Software or Proxy Servers. If this is the case, you need to add the Windows Update website addresses to the exception list of the blocked programs or to the Allow list to let the SVCHOST connects via the port 80 and 443.
