Hi Friends,

I have been being fed up with an encoding problem with my DVD Shrink. As I proceeded with encoding any disc,

I got the encoding process aborted at 91%.

Two screen shots about the error are given below.

Enable Vedio Preview DVD Shrink 3 2 error

DVD Shrink 3.2

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to read file "D:"

Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

OK

I have been in use of Version 3.2.0.15. I am running Windows 7 OS.

Any Help?

Hi Dear,

Cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is a mathematical function and It is used to ensure that the data is transferred from one location to another successfully.

This error occurs due to dirty DVD, scratched DVD, Dirty encrypted DVD. Sometimes this error occurs due to old DVD more than three years so you need to use dvdfab decrypter then rip the DVD and then transcode with DVD shrink or you should clean your DVD may be it has finger prints and other scratches, look for deep scratches and then try it. Please check this website also for more guidance.

Hope this will help you.
