Try any one of the following solutions.

1. Run the Windows Registry Cleaner from your computer. Let it scan and repair all the errors. Now, restart your computer and try to delete the file.

2. Update all of your drivers and system softwares using the Microsoft update service. Now, try to delete the file.

If you encounter this error when deleting files, try doing it in Safe Mode. Restart your computer then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In “Advanced Boot Options” screen, select “Safe Mode” then hit Enter. After logging in, try deleting the files then see if it works. Most of the users were able to fix it using this method.

The cause of the problem is the files that were getting saved when you visit websites with your web browser. If this doesn’t work and you often use Microsoft Internet Explorer, try resetting its settings. Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Network and Internet Connections” then “Internet Options”. In “Internet Properties” window, go to “Advanced” tab then click “Reset” at the bottom under “Reset Internet Explorer settings”.

On the next screen, click “Reset”.
