Hello experts,

Recently, I got a DVD from Netflix. When I insert it in my Computer, windows show that no disc is inserted inside. I find similar error message in Ashampoo, Nero, DVD Decrypter, DVDShrink and UltraISO, but if I insert the same disc in my standalone, then it plays normally. I also examined the disc; no scratches or anything else. In fact, the disc seems to be the latest one.

Also, I have played quite a few DVDs on my Computer to confirm that it was not related to hardware.

I am confused. I need a solution. Please help.

Dear,

It seems that DVD not written properly for computer. Some error in DVD writing creates this kind of problem. The disc may run on other device but it not proper for computer. In order to use the data of that disc collect data from other disc. Make sure the DVD writing process is ok.

Dear User,

This could happen with some DVDs and CDs. The main reason is that this Disk wasn’t written properly to be identified by the computer.

You can solve this by following these steps,

1. Install ISO buster software and try to read your disk from that application. Most of the times this works. https://www.isobuster.com/isobuster.php

2. Try another pc, if it works in it. Make a copy of it and try it in your pc.
