1. Click Start then Run.
2. Type %systemroot%inf in the textbox then hit Enter. A new window will open that will bring you to the folder C:WINDOWSinf.
3. Search for the file moviemk.inf, right-click on it then select Install. This will start the reinstallation process for the Windows Movie Maker. Insert your Windows installer CD-ROM disc on your CD/DVD drive when asked by the setup wizard.
