Currently I am using HTC tytn II mobile. In my phone,

Rom upgrade option available and I have upgraded my phone from Windows Mobile 6 to Windows Mobile 6.5. In 6.5 there are some technical problems and now I am not able to use this OPERATING SYSTEM. I want Windows Mobile 6 Operating System.

Can you guide me from where I will get this and how I can install this into my phone?

johny Fravo,

Your decision to run windows mobile 6.5 was indeed a bad decision as windows mobile 6.5 is not meant for HTC TYTN II.

Now you want to install windows 6 again.

If you want to windows 6 again you have to goggle it or contact otherwise how to find it.

I do not have any direct link to download it.

So, the first work is to find windows mobile 6.

You should back up your HTc device sprite backup or other suitable backup software.

Then from HTC/provider web page you have to download  a file which you have to install in your pc/laptop.

Then connect your htc device with your pc/laptop via USB cable.

Then follow the instructions there to get back your windows 6 back.

Thank you very much.

Try doing a soft reset on your phone first before doing the hard reset.

This is very useful in fixing problems for misbehaving and unstable applications.

Pull the stylus out and then open and remove the back cover of the phone.

Using the tip of the stylus, press the RESET button located on the left side of the back panel. After doing this, your phone will restart and will display the Home screen.

If doing a soft reset didn’t help solve the problem, try doing the hard reset. Here’s how you can do the hard reset.

Turn off your phone then press and hold the buttons Volume Down, Talk/Send, and End/Power. Press and hold the buttons until you see the message:

When the message above appears, release the buttons.

Press Volume Up to restore your phone to its factory settings.
