Hi,

I need some help regarding Windows Media Player.

It is because when I log onto a site, it is a football site and I click on a link which will lead me to the site’s TV area. I am encountering this error message telling me that “Windows Media Player is not installed or was not correctly registered as a plug-in. Please click visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/ to install the latest version of Windows Media Player. ”

I’m wondering why because my Windows Media Player that is installed on my computer works fine when I’m using it all alone.

I hope somebody can help solve my problem.

Windows Media Player as a plug-in

Well, since you need to watch a video clip online using an online TV and it requires to use windows media player, there might some additional plug-ins that are required for that purpose. Videos that are played online are mostly flash videos and therefore a flash plug-in may be required for your windows media player. Therefore, you will need to go to the site indicated and then try downloading the plug-in given and then install it and see if it will solve the problem. Otherwise, you might need to manually search for the latest version of windows media player that has that plug-in, download it and then install it.
