Hi Experts,

While uninstalling Adobe Premiere Elements I received an error message.

Have a look at the screenshot of the error message below. What does it mean?

I tried it several times but failed. Have you any idea?

Please help me to solve it.

Thanks in advance.

Hello John,

When you uninstalling Adobe Premiere Elements from server you got "Error opening installation log file verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable" it is because of logging problem, for solution of this problem click to PEPE10uninstallFix.exe and save the EXE file to your computer. Now run the EXE file in the admin mode and finally uninstall Adobe Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements.

Hello John, When you attempt to uninstall any product in "Programs and Features", a new "Windows Installer" window appears and gives the error you are reported here.

This can occur if Windows Installer Logging is enabled, but the Windows Installer engine cannot properly write the uninstallation log file. This condition can occur if the Windows Installer's application heap becomes freed and thus loses the information on where to store the log file.

This is a problem of the operating system.

To work around this issue, stop and restart the Explorer.exe process using Task Manager.

Thank you.
