I am an expert on the computer but this has me baffled. I installed my graphic program on my hard drive and have saved files on the program. I can see them when I go into the graphic program and go into file open – they are all listed. However, when I look in Windows Explorer I cannot find the documents I saved on my hard drive. Help. How can i locate the entire file?

Hi,

try Clean boot your machine and create a new account to find out if you will get the same behavior with Windows Explorer.
You can try clean booting your machine and see if it works.

– Click Start, in the Search box type msconfig and enter
– On the general tab, click Selective Startup
– Clear the load startup items check box
– on the Services tab, click, select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All
– Click OK

If the problem still occurs, try to scan the system for Registry Errors
Maybe there damaged registries by hidden errors that will slow down your system's performance.
This is also one result why some files don't appear in your exploring.
Do registry scan or if that doesn't solve try Disk Defragmenter.

Hope this solves your problem.
